What do you mean by e-case? If you mean ECAS, then yes there was an update. Line 4 indicating that a communication had been sent out to me.

I called CIC and they confirmed it is FP request. They said I 'll receive an email with in two days.

Kindly add me to ur forum .Me and my husband have applied in Mar 2020.
It's more than a year and I have not got test request. Not sure what to do and where to follow up. My pr is expiring in 2021 October. Any advise for me guys.

You don't need to worry about your PR card getting expired if you are not planning on leave Canada anytime soon as your PR status is valid & not dependent on your PR card expiry.

Just watch for emails from CIC either you or spouse should get Fingerprint request as in my case my spouse got a FP request but I did not.

You must be physically present in Canada when taking the citizenship test.

You need to be in Canada to write online test.

You can give it anywhere provided you are within Canada

my application was received on March 18, 2020 and i received receipt confirmation on Oct 21, 2020 and it started showing processing as of Nov 13, 2020. i haven't received anything after yet. Also, i am currently in India due to a family emergency. what is the next step ? would i getting finger print request or test ? do i need to be in Canada for FP request ?

You don't need to be in India for FP (find accredited RCMP agency in India). Not everyone get FP request and you have 90 days to provide the FP.

The only reason is could be your name due to which you received Fingerprint request, you can get FP here in Winnipeg,

Decision Made ~ April 12th

No document requested, no interview.

Does anyone know how long I'll need to wait before I get an email about the decision? (hopefully oath, fingers crossed)

Test passed March 26.. just confirmed today that it was ok.. now they said I have to wait for the next step. Wondering another year?
Not urgent, but I just got lucky..

Thanks! No, it's just a regular one. But I'm pretty young, I have done all my education in Canada and did not really travel within the last 5 years. So I believe my case is simpler than most people.
