If IRCC gives a time frame that you cannot meet, you can seek an extension. Alternatively, you can apply for the passport and then inform IRCC.

I got a request letter saying that, "Proof of funds: Please provide updated proof of funds along with transaction history of each account for the past three months to the date of this letter. Also, please provide written explanation and supporting documents for all the source of funds in your accounts. This must be received at this office by: 2022/02/07"

My POF was 100% gift deed from my father on AOR (march 2020).

MY question is I took a few personal loans 6 months ago. So with that effect my effecting balace (savings - personal loan) in $1500 below requirement as of now. So I made another gift deed worth approx $3000 CAD from my father again on 2nd february 2022.

is it acceptable to make POF gift deed made after request letter or do I face rejection chances?

You have to show PoF when you apply as well as when you land in Canada. You can surely make another gift deed as long as you explain the situation and provide the documents.

Yes, I'd say its normal. The people who update information here are a fraction of total applicants.
I'm March 2020 AOR too without any med request or ADR.

No. It wasn't Fixed Deposit. It was gift deed with LOE

Hi guys, quick question - while applying for a visitors visa can we show the same but updated account statement that we used to show proof of funds in our pr application?

Also one more question, does applying for a visitors visa negatively impact the PR application in case of a rejection?

Hi. I got a GU on the 4th of Feb. No email, saw that when I logged in. Medical status changed from "You do not need a medical exam" (expired medicals) to "you passed the medical exam". Had done upfront so dont know whether it was an extension or assessment of the upfront. Also, the background status changed from "We are processing you background verification" to "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when we start your background verification". I'm confused as to what it means. Can anyone please clarify? Thanks in advance.

March 8 2020 aor got my remed request 21 nov 2021 so i got it and it has been updated after that no movement . I got married nov 2021 my husband is a canadian PR I have raised the webform regarding that but it isnt updated yet . My husband inquired about my ee file and was told it is in final stage however my marital status hasnt been updated . What you guys think how long it’ll take

Yes, my AOR is March 14th, 2020, FSW-O, I received my PPR on January 31st

YEs, that is a requirement of PoF. If you are asked, you will be asked bout the source of funds.
