Hi Everyone,

Requesting some help on the following.

1) I received a remedical request and a Schedule A IMM 5669 request yesterday. I have till Feb 1 to fill IMM 5669 and till Feb 26 to submit the medicals. My passport expires on July 2022, therefore I have set up an appointment tomorrow (Jan 28) to renew it. The process should take 7-10 days as per the passport office. Should I postpone the renewal of my passport until after submitting IMM 5669 and the remedicals and then inform IRCC of the new passport number. Or should I go ahead with the passport renewal appointment tomorrow and simultaneously go ahead with my remedicals and form IMM 5669?

2) Any idea why I've received a request for Schedule A IMM 5669? Does it indicate that the previously filled information in my application was not complete? Because I can't think of what I missed!

3) Considering that I've received a remedical and Schedule A request, what does it indicate about my application/timeline?

I am already in Canada and CIC requested to provide current address in MyCIC portal. Any suggestion how to do that! Feels like final steps are here! Fingers crossed.

Check this news. I’m hoping most of our applications will be finalized in the first half of 2022. At least, finally, after 6 months of backlash in the media, government decided to recognize the problem, and IRCC under pressure is avoiding to invite anybody else through Express Entry, and this will continue for at least another 6 months.

this is the only hope that they will finalize our apps, since everyone new invites come in, they are the first to go out!

Hi Guys,

If anyone has recently uploaded any document to MyCIC account in response to an ADR, please let me know how did you do it? I am not seeing any option to do it under "View submitted application or upload documents ".

sorry mate. Can’t recall any tricks on that page… check if there is a “next” in the bottom of the page, because you go uploading in steps until you “digitally sign” your name and submit.

Schedule A sent on January 13th (I think), After that I saw a ghost update last week, still waiting for PPR/CoPR.
I think the Schedule A was requested when security started. Maybe ghost update means that security is done? Not sure...

FSW. Schedule A is a standard thing to ask, just to be up to date with everything. No worries, it means that you are close to PPR/PR!

Thanks for the response. That's the problem, that 'Next' button is missing. I have raised a technical issue on that page but not sure if I will get a response before 1 month. I have submitted a webform to provide the information in the mean time. Who knows when they will see even that!

Hi @legalfalcon. My wife is 6 month pregnant. In case IRCC asks for remedical, do I have an option of delaying it, or skipping the X-ray portion and do the rest?

Yes, you do and it will be done by the panel physician.
