So, finally, guys, I received the ultra-coveted, much-awaited, much-anticipated Ready for Visa mail.

I'm not sure how to react, really. I'm still processing it, tbh. A journey of two years and while there's still the final lap left, it just feels unreal!

Thank you to everyone, on this forum for being on this journey together. Specifically, there are a few I'd like to thank for being there for me right at the early stages... @Nuzhat Ali , @Aspirant2506 , @Invincible84 - thank you. And a huge thank you to the legal eagle @legalfalcon - your calm reassurance and insights have always managed to bring in composure and perspective.

My timeline, in case anyone is interested:

FSW-Outland with Dependent Spouse
AOR: March 5th 2020
First Medicals Passed: 12th March 2020
Biometrics Passed: 16th March 2020
Second Medicals Passed: December 25th 2021
RFV Mail: 13th Jan 2022

Let's see what the future has in store. And if anyone has any questions on anything, happy to answer whatever I can. We're in this together and we'll get there...eventually!

It is normal, I just received it few days ago (AOR Feb 2020). It is just to keep information up to date, but I think it is a good sign: someone is working on our applications!

Hi guys! I’ve just received my GCMS notes, and application assignment due date is 01.16.2022. Does anyone know if IRCC try to meet the deadline for application approval? Or is it just their internal deadlines? My AOR is March 14th 2020, no updates since the expiration of medicals. Thank you!

As per the Call centre executive it just means the file would be taken for assessment by the officer on or before that date. But they might extend that date too. So nothing to think aloud from our perspective.

Hi Everyone. Does any body know which option to select while submitting passports for COPR stamping in the 2 way courier. Option 1 or Option 3?

Option 1: Passport Submission for Permanent Residence Application (Family Class Priority , Economic PR)

Option 3 : Passport Submission for Permanent Resident Travel Document

Any Help is much appreciated
