Going in to the 2021 AOR threads is like a punch in the gut... and then a slap in the face. lol

People complaining about how they are now at 2-3 months with no news. Others getting CoPR in 2 months. I'm just here at 18 months twiddling my thumbs. haha

I landed in the March 2021 thread last week thinking it was this thread. Got my head bitten off for staying and saying not to worry coz 6-8 months is still good and some of us are much worse off. o_O

Maybe one day this will be all over for those of us from Q1 2020.... one day. :confused:

Finally Ecopr yesterday. Cec inland with an inland dependent .

So here is my story

AOR: March 5, 2020
Medical Passed and Bio Metrics: March 11, 2020
Then Covid hit and there was no update on my file till August 2021. In fact ordered GCMS twice and kept on calling agents to the point that my status till last month was Eligibility: Not started, Criminality : in progress, Security: Not started. It was just frustrating.

Then on August 13, 2021 they asked for additional information from me and my wife. I submitted everything in 3 days. Then got a ghost update on August 20, 2021. And then tried calling the agent and they said they are focusing on Afghan issue.

September 21, 2021- Another ghost update
September 22, 2021- Got an email from IRCC confirming my approval and also got Portal sign in request
September 23, 2021- Uploaded photo and confirmed my address in the portal.
September 25, 2021- Ecopr

The wait was frustrating but finally it is over. I hope everyone else waiting from Jan 2020 onwards also get their COPR soon. Will be happy to answer questions of others.
Congratulations

AOR- March 2020
FSW - Inland

I am a little bit confused here!!. Is your application approved and processed? How are you waiting for the email?. Or you initially email them to update your country of residence to be in Canada not your home country?.

Hi,

Can anyone confirm, is it possible for an Outland FSW candidate to move to another country while his PR application is still in process? My date of AOR is 1st March of 2020, but no update yet. I am planning on moving to UAE on a Work Permit Sponsorship. I have been waiting for 2 years on false hope and now want to start a fresh chapter in my life.

@legalfalcon any thoughts?

Yes, you can move and send a webform to update the COR.

Hi All, My AOR is March 02, 2020 - FSW Outland. I am a citizen of India, currently staying in US since 2019

I need your advice on:

> the right time to update my newborn son in express entry profile. Do I need to update it immediately or shall I wait for some more time till I get COPR and then add it or I can do that while soft-landing via road? Essentially I want to understand the process and act accordingly while trying to eliminate the chances of my application getting stuck (on the top of Pandemic Backlogs)
> how to do this

@legalfalcon please recommend

Thanks in advance!

You have to update it immediately. This is a material fact, and the same will be asked from you before issuing you a COPR- Do you have a change in family composition, for example:
- You got married or divorced
- Birth or adoption of a child
- ....
Etc. So if you declare it then, they will still ask you additional documents.

As soon s your family composition changes you have to inform IRCC and update the details of your new born. You are referring to Profile, have you not submitted your application?

If you have submitted your application and receive a COPR, you cannot travel to Canada unless you add your new born to your application. If you do travel and inform at the PoE that your family composition has changed, you may be refused entry.

I am an outland CEC applicant whose medicals were passed again (after having previously expired) in June this year. Are extensions usually 12 months from the date they were extened?

Thank you
