I am living in the US. I have been postponing my international travel for the last 8 months because of this. I'm worried they are going to ask for Passport while I'm in my home country (India).

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally got my PR approval today! I don't think I can put into words the relief I'm feeling right now. What a rollercoaster ride this has been!

Thank you to everyone on this forum including @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes. This community sure made the journey a lot more manageable.

Good luck to all the people who are still waiting. Your time is coming!

In the portal, it says "Review of medical results - May 7, 2020:You passed the medical exam. "

My medical exam was done on March 3, 2020. So I would imagine the medicals already expired. Are they updating the portal if they are extended automatically?
It’s not automatic. Medical team updated the gcms system with the extension, after which the officer needs to update it in the system to reflect on the portal.

Congrats! I can only see a COPR document number, expiry date and my PR application status says approved. Is this the same as what you’re seeing or did you get an official letter through your ircc account or sent to your email address?

We wouldn't know how long the medicals extension is valid even if they do it, right? Probably if I order GCMS notes I may know something.

My dear readers, I was able to get through the 10-minute options over the phone calling IRCC, and even get them to call me back using the callback feature. I called 4 times, so be patient when you call, and if you get the high-volume message, hang up and call again (it's a hassle, I know, but persistence is key).

AoR: March 30th, 2020
FSW Outland

Current status:

CPC Ottawa

Criminality: Passed
Security: Not started
Eligibility: Under Review
Medical: Passed - Expired

I have added my baby a month ago via webform and cannot see him as a dependant online, that was the reason for my call, in addition to this, I used the opportunity to talk to someone to ask regarding outland applications and so on. The agent was kind, he told me to monitor the notifications constantly and be patient, I mean, what else can he possibly say under these extenuating circumstances??

Hang in there my friends, we'll get to Canada when we get there, no worries.

Cheers from Buenos Aires!
