Hello @legalfalcon,
Does ordering GCMS notes cause delay in processing? I just called IRCC and the agent told me ordering GCMS notes makes them transfer your file to another department for about one month and they don’t work on your file during that time.
Do you know if the agent is saying the right information?

This is not true. IRCC has clarified it before:

We haven't had eligibility passed on our application - should we be worried? Should we request GCMS notes or just hang tight?

Any advice appreciated :)

How do you know your eligibility hasn't passed? I would order the notes, yeah. But I wouldn't be worried.

Got an email today asking to confirm my address. I moved (within city) three months ago and notified them right away.
FSW AOR march 2020. Is it a sign of getting copr or passport request soon?

Yes, Once IRCC Agent told me the same thing that we stop working when you order GCMS Notes till the time you receive your notes

GCMS notes do not have any impact on your file. They are ordered under Access to Information and Privacy act which bounds the IRCC to provide the information requested. All they do is generate the system report and submit it to ATIP which then send it to the client. In cases where people see responses after notes is pure coincidence, I believe.

Hey, I also got the same email, I am US based FSW, AOR-25th March, the email says I need to confirm my most recent address by 7th April. Although I never moved out of this address
