Mine was assigned to CB01126. ANd file hasn't been touched since May. I contacted my MP this week. MP office said will get back to me by next week.
I got a response from my MP but he just replied with the status update from IRCC which is same thing I got in my GCMS notes. So useless. Did you get any new info?

Sorry if this is a stupid/triggering question but I had the same thought as @nns14 - in the undoubtedly many webforms you've sent them asking for status, have you also told them that you're actually inland now? I mean it's ridiculous that their system doesn't have automation for this kind of thing but your situation sounds totally bizarre and infuriating. If you're here have you called to tell an agent in person that you're actually here and see if they'll put a note on your file as well as confirming an inland address is entered in? Sometimes people share that the agents are kind and do put in a note to the officer. I've no idea if it has any effect in reality on getting it seen by an officer before they choose to touch your file themselves, but worth a shot?
Yes, I've already done what you and @nns14 suggested, on multiple occasions both on the phone with an agent as well as via Webform. They are aware that we are all in Canada. In fact, we even changed addresses (in Canada) recently and I updated our address accordingly via Webform. This would've given them yet another "reminder" that we're in Canada, and I was ambitiously hoping it would've prompted them to finally issue the COPR and get it over with.

I highly doubt the IRCC Call Centre agents have the power to communicate with the CPC officers in relation to a particular file, but maybe I can make another call at the end of this month begging for that to be done...

Thanks to you both for your sympathies and consideration.

All stages passed in gcms since 5 months ago. Yesterday, cic cancelled my simultaneously running bowp app and approved owp under public policy. As you mentioned before, cic prevents duplicity of work. Why not simply finalize my gcms approved PR application? They would not have needed to do any processing at all. @legalfalcon

Thanks a lot for your help.
So should I wait to apply for her SOWP until my BOWP is approved. Otherwise wouldn't the officer see that ok PA's WP is expiring in 2-3 months, we cant give SOWP to his wife.
Or it is still ok to apply both the same day and put the details in LOE ?

this last question will get me going. Thanks again.
Wife Outland.

@legalfalcon
I have already addressed this before, you can apply for both together and IRCC allows it. However, until a decision on your BOWP is not made, your SOWP will not be processed as it is dependent. Read the link I shared above.

There are internal circulars and priorities that IRCC has to comply with. This is all I can say. It would have ben ideal to just approve your PR, but it would have taken longer and you cannot be without a status.

Let me ask my question again, did you see the new updated address on the GCMS file?

Informing them and them doing it are two different things.

Have seen many cases where IRCC failed to update the address despite many attempts by the applicants.

Hi, I'm a March '20 AOR applicant recently got married. my application is still in progress. I've informed IRCC about my marital status and they requested me to upload some forms to include my spouse into the PR application.

shall I apply for OWP-Dependent while our PR application is in progress ?.

pls note,

1. I haven't uploaded the forms for spouse in PR nor applied for OWP yet.
2. Spouse is NOT in Canada.
3. I'm on a closed work permit in Canada.
4. will there be a Chance of spouse OWP rejection

kindly advice @legalfalcon or someone went through the same situation

The OWP has nothing to do with your PR application. They are separate applications and will be decided on their own merits.

Hi, I am an outland applicant and applied under the EE, FSW/PNP - Ontario program. Recently I added a child to the application. I received AOR on March 21,2020 and the medicals show passedd on Jan 21,2021. I requested for CBSA notes and it has been over a month and a notification was sent that they would need 60 days more. I am not sure what is happening. Did anyone apply for CBSA notes recently (also I applied for CBSA since when I applied for GCMS they sent me an option as GCMS notes were taking too long)?

Will your case be re-calculated CRS point ?
