Before the PPR is sent, your medicals, if expired, will be sent to the Regional Medical Officer for reassessment who will make a determination on whether to ask for remeds or extended them.

PPR cannot be issued if your meds are expired.
I am inland applicant so I need copr not ppr

So should I redo med or wait for ircc to request first

Hello guys
Myself and spouse are cec applicants, aor march 23
I called ircc agent 3 weeks ago and I was told everything is passed.
We are still waiting for copr but our med is also expired.
Should we go ahead and redo the med or we should wait for ircc to request first.
I am confused as to what to do.

The eligibility takes place in two stages. First an analyst or an assistant will review and make a recommendation. This can be recommended passed / Met / etc. This recommendation is then reviewed by an officer who makes a final determination. The terminology used such as met / recommended passed / passed an no relevance.

In your GCMS notes you will see a note for R10 - completeness check and then a note by an agent / assistant or analyst, that will be detailed and a recommendation will be made. This will then be reviewed by the officer who will make a final determination and enter another note.

See my previous post on how these look in the GCMS available at #2,521

Thanks for your reply!

I'm still curious about the terminology of an agent/officer. Is agent=officer? My eligibility is marked "passed" but no officer mentioned, only agent.
