Got response today on eligibility question raised in webform on 4 Oct.

The responsible office has verified that your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

AOR: 17 March
Medical: 6 May
Bio: 15 Oct. (exempt updated)

My Medical expired on 31 July.

Any idea will they ask again for medical.

Also my son passport will expire in last week of Nov.

Any suggestions pls
If you eligibility is passed, that is a great news.

As regards the medicals, after the security is completed during the final review, IRCC will review your medicals and passports and if they are expiring anytime soon. If your medicals are expiring, IRCC will send them to the Regional Medical Officer for a reassessment, and the RMO will decide if you need a re-med of extension can be provided.

If any of the family member's passport is expiring, you should get it renewed, and send the scan to IRCC via webform. As per IRCC the passports should be valid for at least 6 months when the PPR is sent.

Just relax. This is a very good sign and you seem to be almost close to the finish line.

Biometrics as such is not a specific stage, but was introduced and is used to conduct the criminality checks, so until your biometrics are on file your criminality will continue to show in progress. Once the biometrics are in, the criminality will be passed.

Security starts after the eligibility is conclusively passed by the officer. For a more detailed discussion on this see my previous post at #2,521

Your application is doing well and you need not worry. Once you receive your GCMS notes, you will have a much clearer picture and you can also share you notes for more discussion with other fellow forum members.
Thanks so much @legalfalcon
The waiting game isn’t easy at all but hopefully, everything will turn out fine. I’ll definitely share the information on the GCMS note when I get it.
Thanks again!

Hello Friends, please clarify.

My AOR is 20th March.
I called IRCC 20 odd days ago and they said eligibility, meds passed.
I filled a webform then and got a reply saying application is still in process no specific update.

Should I worry about my application not moving forward or was webform reply just generic?

I got a similar response, and they ignored my questions regarding eligibility, criminality and security. So I guess it's generic. I passed eligibility months ago, and now, when I called on the weekend, the automated system told me "in progress." Kind of a mess.

Thanks @legalfalcon for clarity. Will try to re-apply for son's passport this week.

Hi guys, I also applied in March. The tension increased even more when I saw that some March applicants have started getting COPR. I applied for my GCMS note September 30th but couldn’t wait so long! I had to call IRCC agent this morning. Here is my profile:
AOR: March 9 2020, Inland, FSW
Medical: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Biometrics: Completed Oct 15
Criminality: The ahem said it’ll be updated soon since my biometrics has already been updated (I don’t even know what that means)
Security: Not started

I don’t know if this is a good sign or not and I’m beginning to have high blood pressure. I keep checking my profile every minute!
Please can someone explain this criminality and security part to me? When should I expect COPR? @legalfalcon
Thanks
Hey do not worry you are not alone
I am in the same boat as you

Aor: 5th march 2020 FSW Inland
Medical: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Biometrics: Completed Oct 15
Criminality: In progress
Security: not started

hope we will get through soon and get the COPR. Hang in there

Hi Guys, I ordered GCMS note on Sep 22nd and it is 28 days now since I ordered and haven's received yet. Any idea how many days it will take?
Ordinarily 30 days or less but in some cases it's taking a bit longer. If you are inland you can request for free you and can consider requesting the next set from CBSA instead and obtain the security screening updates along with the Gcms Notes

Hi, I just got my PPR request yesterday. And there it’s mentioned that my PR docs will get expired after one year of my medical and must do the landing on or before that. I have done the medical in Feb. so does this mean should I do the landing on or before Feb 2021? I heard because of current situation they extend the time for landing bt not sure. Is there anyone who got their landing time period extended here?
