For me it said that we have sent you this survey because you agreed to participate in surveys conducted by IRCCwhen you submitted your application. I remember that when I submitted my application there was a check box which you can check or uncheck if you are willing to participate in any surveys conducted by IRCC.
My e-mail contained:

You have been chosen to take part in a Government of Canada survey. Your email address was identified in our records as being associated with a past or existing immigration application, or you may have been invited to apply to a specific program.

i think they might be sending it in waves too. when everyone on here was getting it, I received nothing. but then a couple days ago it showed up in my spam folder
I don't think I need to do biometrics because i recently did that when applying for a visitor visa, don't know about the medical though
You need to get biometrics done each time you apply for permanent residency until you get approved. Biometrics for temporary residency be it student, work or visitor visa are valid for ten years and don't count towards PR application.
Even if you have done biometrics recently as a part of a temporary visa application, You have to do it again for PR. I am in the same situation and received Biometrics Instruction Letter for PR. Waiting for Service Canada to open.
Do any of you receive RCMP PCC request while waiting for service Canada to open for Biometrics? Today I received RCMP PCC request.

When did you apply and did you apply for both OWP and PR ? When filing out forms for OWP and PR, there was a section for biometrics and an option saying check if you need to give biometrics and reading that, it stated clearly that I don't need to give it now. If I made a mistake, is there a biometric fee that I did not pay and maybe that is why I still haven't heard anything from them ? I applied in late march and I am getting a bit worried now

My background check changed from "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. "
to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check ".
A bit weird but what can I do.

Guys how many pay stubs do I need to show if I work less than 30 hours per week. My employer gave me experience letter in which it is mentioned my average hours are 54 bi weekly.
