Ok, now i am completely lost!! So, we should only give biometrics at the Service Canada Offices?? or we can actually go here??? and is it valid?? cause i remember i emailed one of these centers and they said that they do not do biometrics?!?!
thx

Guys..don't expect service Canada will open soon..I'm in Edmonton too..i did the biometrics at (Alberta Fingerprinting Services): #210, 12781-50 St. (Hermitage Square - Professional Centre)..

Since we can't submit Biometrics , Do it mean application processing is stopped or they continue processing the remaining stages like Background, Criminality etc...
any idea

I think it is impossible to know, but IRCC recently put in place a biometrics exemption policy for certain NOC foreign workers.... For me, that's a hint that biometrics collection won't happen any time soon.

hi All,

Posting on behalf of someone, please suggest if they should order GCMS notes now or wait for a few more days/weeks. They raised a case inquiry and got the following reply:

- The eligibility review has not been initiated.

- The criminal background verification is currently valid.

- The background verifications are in process.

The AOR is March 2, 2020. The file is at CPC-Ottawa, Ontario. Also, at what stage is the application?

Hello,
I have tried to call IRCC from outside Canada but they clearly state that they dont give any update on permanent residency application.
I was wondering which number did you use to contact them as I have seen many messages about people getting info using through call ?
Is it possible from outside Canada ?
Thanks

Some encouraging signs... number of reported PPRs in 2020 so far:

AOR - 22 March 2020
Went and provided my Biometrics on 4th June 2020.

Yesterday, 8 June 2020 I received a request to pay my RPRF fees "in order to continue to review the application".
What does this mean as far as where the application is ?

FSW - Outland
CRS - 479
ITA - Feb 5
Application submitted - March 25 (also paid for the biometrics fee, PR application fee, and RPRF on this day)
AOR - March 26
Upfront medical exam - Feb 29

I listed my partner as an accompanying dependent.

I'm getting a bit anxious for a few reasons:
- Under "Review of medical results" it says, "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." - But I already submitted my upfront medical results along with the application.
- I haven't received by BIL yet and my application hasn't updated since I received my AOR.
- I can't find my application on the Client Application Status online tool.

Should I be worried?

Finally got my BIL and had my medicals passed!! They sent in a request for additional documents last June 2 and I also uploaded that today. A few hours later I got my BIL and medicals confirmed.
