I see a ghost update when I logged in today "Application/profile updated" and saw my Medicals updated.

Review of medical results - September 15, 2021:You passed the medical exam.

My AOR is March 31, 2020. Does this mean things are moving for my application?
Looks like someone's working your file anyway. Are you inland/outland? Did you do new medicals or were they extended?

Hi Guys,

As a result of the current Covid-19 situation, I understand that the holdup is COVID as the border is basically closed.
this is my timeline:

AOR: March 17, 2020. Outland
Medical passed: May 7, 2020
completed the biometric: July 31, 2020.

I called IRCC, apparently background checks and everything is done and all requirements have been met, however, there is no updates since July 31, 2020.
As over 18 months have passed, do you have any idea when I can expect the processing of my application to be completed.
can you advise me please?

Thanks

Hi! Got notes after don't know how many days. The notes are the same as it were on June 2020, only difference is that the text that used to be in previous note "Officer Review required for change in age after ITA. A11.2: Review Required" has been blanked out. The text is entirely replaced by blank spaces. Can anyone guide on if/what it means? Aor March 2020, Medicals Expired, Criminality passed, info. Complete, security not started. @legalfalcon @immicow

A birthday after your ITA shouldn't affect CRS.

At this point there's gonna be a lot of us who have had one (possibly two!) birthdays between closure and reopening of the border. Disqualifying applicants based on something like that would be ridiculous.

I also noticed the same too on my GCMS notes requested few months ago on the "Review Required" section. Apparently, i noticed something the case analyst said abt one of my work reference letters, so i requested another from my previous HR clarifying all case analyst comments and sent to IRCC via webform. My new GCMs note confirms that it has been updated on my profile. However, at the same time i noticed taht both the review required, the previous comments the case anlyst had were all blanked out.

I am interested to know what this means @legalfalcon . Does that mean the review required has been removed my the 2nd case analyst. Please assist. Thanks

When a note is blanked out it means it has been redacted. When any info in the note is redacted, a corresponding section under which it is redacted is listed on the top right corner of the page usually s,15/16

See https://bit.ly/3tXvj1Z

As regards Drajesh's post, if your age changed between ITA and submission, then you will be given an exemption from the drop in CRS due to a change in Age.

Hi everyone, back to the forum after over a year. AOR March 2020 FSW Outland.

My timeline:
AOR: March 26, 2020.
Biometric completed: June 9 2020.
Medical passed in March 2020, after one year after it has expired - now there is a note in my application saying I don't need further medical examinations for now.

There are no other updates. I called one time, one year ago, and was told that I passed eligibility, security check not started at that time. But in my online application till now the eligibility check is not updated as passed. I have been doing my wait patiently and avoid anxiously checking my account/the forum too regularly, but now with the application remaining with no updates for over a year, I wonder if there is anything I should do to check if something is holding back my application, or if I should consider moving to Canada first to study (master student visa) then hopefully speed up my application with inland address. I have also passed the age of 30 after my AOR date.

Having bithday after AOR does not impact at all. Having bithday after ITA and before requires application of exemption policy.

Also, there is 16.2.c on the history section of the application

Yes, in fact if your medicals were previously expired and if they have been renewed, it means that your application is nearing final approval.
BTW are you inland or outland?
