CEC Inlander here. Called the agent today. No updates since 2 months ago...
The Eligibility was recommended to pass from Sydney VO and then my application was transferred to Ottawa VO in May. The Ottawa VO set the eligibility to passed! My Criminality and Security are still in progress since two months ago. I was exempt from giving Biometrics and was set to Completed two months ago. No updates after...

How did you know they have requested extension on medical ?

I called CIC and plus it's written on my GCMS notes as well.

• The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirementsunder the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • You may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently in process.

Had a refusal last year since was living in Quebec. Officer request a letter of intention to live outside Quebec, sent it, didn't work. Applied again Dec 2019, receive Ontario PNP nomination in March 2020. Here we are.

@legalfalcon Does the previous refusal implicate in the Eligibility for the current application? (now I am living in Ontario, moved before AOR, address and employment in Ontario are all document in the application)

It will not be reflected in your eligibility, instead when you answered the statutory questions, you would have answer yes and provided this.

But it will not show up in eligibility.

What was your status when you have applied from Quebec, didn't you provide LOE while submitting the application, did the officer ask for any proof to reside outside of QC.

Hi All, I called IRCC voice recording, it does not say anything about medicals, could there be a reason for this? Aor mar 13, gave medicals last year Nov 5 when i applied first time.

Was Eligibility passed by an officer? If not then that could be a reason why security has not started. Otherwise it just may be administrative delays
