Hi everyone,
Im secondary applicant on profile my work permit got expired on nov 24, I applied spousal open work permit on aug 28, i got refusal saying missing document on dec 04, so on the letter it’s says you can restoration your status within 90 days after expiry of status. So I applied again with missing document on dec 05 nd also I informed IRCC through web form saying I’m in restoration status I’m eligible to work until I get valid work permit also attached proof of submission.
Do you guys think it will affect my PR

Basically I thought I’m applying BOWP so I didn’t provide my spouse employment letter.
When i talk to lawyer he says I’m not eligible for bowp i can only apply spousal open work permit, bcoz I’m secondary applicant on profile.

I have read on forum that processing of one doesn’t affect other. Just that pr refusal will result in bowp refusal,
Not sure about owp.

I reapply for restoration. I can’t work until I receive decision. Any affect on PR application?

I got the notes in August. At that time also it said Security not started.Biometrics were done in July.i just called again and security not started still..please can anyone e plain why the delay in security.A0R is 30th of March @legalfalcon

Hi Everyone, did anyone here got a COPR or PPR from the CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia? It seems like all the application which have not been touched for a long time are all been worked on from CIO Sydney.

My application is being processed under CIO Sydney,NS and Criminality is In Progress status for over 8 Weeks.

Most applications have not been touched. There is administrative delay, and nothing else. Also, security usually starts after eligibility is conclusively passed.

Did your lawyer confirm the reason you are not eligible for BOWP? Because if you are already on Spouse open work permit and you both have applied for Express entry in the same file you should be eligible for BOWP and for that no employment letter is required.

I have not received PPR yet.
I am so anxious about the it. I have called couple times and received same result that, pending at the final decision
Does anyone know how long the rest would take? As I have heard someone submitted in May or June has already got PPR.
