I have raised a webform recently this is the response I received.

The responsible office has determined that your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.

  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

Additionally, we verified the information on file and can confirm that:

  • The background verifications are in process
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.

My AOR march 18
Biometrics July 23

I have few questions here:
1. When they say meets eligibility requirement what part of the application is complete. Does it mean employment verification, reference letter verification, IELTS Scores verification and ECA Verification is complete.
2. What will be checked under background verification ?

Can any please help find the answers to my questions. I read a lot in the internet but cannot come to a clarity.

Yes eligibility means they have checked your ielts, education and work experience. Rest is all security stuff based on pcc, fingerprints etc. Eligibility is the important part so relax and enjoy! :)

Thanks for the response
My employer did not get any call from IRCC that why I am confused if Work experience and reference letters are verified or not. And how much time is taken for security to complete my pcc both from India and USA.

Hey,

Thanks for your response! They ask you to write UCI and your name at the back of the photograph but on the guidelines in the COPR, they also mention stamping the date and address where the photo was taken. What did you write at the back of your photo?
Generally from where you take the photo they should stamp it and give

Hi @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes , sorry to bother you again.

I am biometrics exempt (FSW Inland, AOR 6th April) and my biometrics was mentioned as submitted on 15th Oct. but at the same time my medical changed from "passed" to "you don't need a medical, we will inform you if this changes"

I checked and my medical was valid till 27th Sept. although in my GCMS notes received on 30th Sept. it stated that medical passed.

I also want to inform you that I made a trip to my home (India) from 10th Oct. to 28th Oct.

Looking at this timeline can you please suggest if this will cause delays in getting my COPR. Can I do something to speed up the processing like doing my medical again or raise any webform.

I am asking this question as a lot of people have the same thing happening with their medical. Thanks for you help!

Name and UCI. And the photo already has the stamp of where it was taken and they just wrote the date.

Hello,
Please I’m currently in Canada as a graduate student and I intend to get married by December in home country while my PR application is still in process. I also plan on adding my partner after our wedding. My current status shows eligibility and medicals passed. Biometrics was updated on the 15th of October 2020, criminality is in progress and security hasn’t begun. Visa office is in Ottawa
Please will my CRS score be recalculated when I add my partner? And at what point in the processing can I add him I order for my score not to be recalculated.
I’m trying to make use of this opportunity (assuming I don’t get approved before December) because I heard spousal sponsorship takes almost two years.
Kindly advise
@legalfalcon

Adding spouse to the express entry application can be done at any time during the process, including after the visa is issued, but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. An applicant should immediately inform IRCC of any change to the family composition. How this will impact your application will depend on what stage of the application process you are at.

Pre-ITA

If you have not yet received an invitation to apply, you can amend the application online. However, be advised that upon adding a spouse to the application may change your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and the applicant will need to show a higher proof of funds. Further, if points for the education, work experience, and language scores of the spouse are claimed, the applicant will have to upload documents to corroborate it. When the application is processed, the completeness check and the eligibility check will be done for all the family members of the applicant named on the file.

Post-ITA

If the family composition changes after the e-APR has been submitted, the family member added is not subject to eligibility assessment. However, the family member will have to be assessed for medical, criminal and security.

See https://bit.ly/3jALNq8

As soon as you are married, you can inform IRCC. IRCC will ask you for the following documents:

1. An IMM8 Application
2. Schedule A form for spouse
3. Additional Family Information form for primary applicant and spouse.
4. Fee receipt for spouse - Processing fee and right of permanent residence fee
5. Birth Certificate of spouse, translation, and affidavit of translation (if applicable)
6. Copy of Spouse's Passport
7. Copy of marriage certificate and marriage registration
8. Wedding Card and Photographs (or other proof of relationship)
9. Police clearance certificate for the primary applicant and spouse
10. Spouse's upfront medical
11. Letter of Explanation (if required)

If you have submitted your application you can travel anywhere and it has no impact on the processing of your medicals.

If your medicals are about to expire, IRCC will have them reassessed by the Regional Medical Officer to ascertain if you need a re-med or your medicals can be extended. You will see this in your MyCIC account.

If your AoR is March 2020, your application seems to be on track and the average processing time has not expired.

HI Can you please tell what you have exactly asked in the web form, I asked them the following questions in the webform:

1. Eligibility passed? When?
2. Criminality passed? When?
3. Security passed? When?
4. Background check passed? When?
5. What is my Visa Office?

And they came up with same standard reply: "We verified the information you provided and can confirm that application is still in process". I am worried whether they have started something for my application or what? AOR- March 2020. Any Suggestions Please.

Dont worry.
I got the exact same reply with same words and all as you and when I called the call center agent everything was passed. This call was before I even filled the webform.
