Today I received an email from cic saying they are refunding 85 cad. I am clueless plz. Anybody have an idea about this refund? AOR 1 received on April 13th. No progress after that

Okay then I don’t wanna give a false answer , but i thought it could be becuz ur spouse doesn’t need biometric and that’s the reason they refund it back .

friends my application was recieved on March 26, I didnt get AOR yet and cant see anything in ecas too,
you could see you application on ecas before AOR?
Im so worried as I was October applicant but my application was returned after 4 months so now this waiting is killing me

I got a request for additional info this afternoon, they wanted to see my paystubs with the year-to-date summary for 2019. I think there's some confusion because I'm employed by a university in NB but based at a campus of another university in Halifax (my boss works for both). Just submitted them via webform, so hope that means we'll get SA once they've reviewed the docs!

Why they're asking you for pay stubs? You already signed the undertaking and LICO is not a prerequisite. I even read a law about this on an immigration forum somewhere. You are a Canadian Citizen? The only other reason I would think of is because she has dependents?

I don't know, they didn't include a reason in my email. Yes I'm a Canadian citizen, though this was the first year I ever filed taxes in Canada (lived most of my adult life in UK, dual citizenship). My husband doesn't have any dependents. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, but I imagine they needed some clarity about my current employment situation for whatever reason.
