Thanks for the info there, I'm crossing my fingers that we hear something by mid-April! I've been super excited to see how fast things are coming along for the January and some of the February folks. My husband and I cannot wait to live together, we've been apart for over 3 years now. I hope we don't have to wait too much longer...Based on the current data and if CIC keeps the pace, when they get to March applications the average AOR time will be around 30 days. That is for March applicant will be pretty easy to calculate your expected AOR date, just get you "received date" in March and same day in April you should get AOR.
It's actually interesting to watch... CIC cut about 8 days every months. That is if they continue doing so they will get to zero in June. Now it's almost impossible to imagine: you've submitted an application an got your AOR just a couple of days later. For those whose applications will be sent to Mississauga the whole process will take 2 months or even less
But having said that, it's absolutely unfair for others who are sent to slow visa offices and have to wait for a year to get it done.
For January applicants right now around 75% of all applications or 3/4 in other words have been sent to Mississauga. If CPC-M is so fast and efficient and if almost all applications are already being sent there, why to make exceptions and send 1/4 to some very slow VOs? Rhetorical questions...
Was your application rejected, or just sent back? I believe that if you have your application rejected, you need to go down an appeal route at this point. If it was sent back, then you can just resubmit. Hopefully someone else with more experience in using a representative can chime in, because I don't know anything about how easy it is for you to keep track of updates yourself.Hi everyone,
I am a Canadian citizen and applied for my spouse(india) but file was REJECTED due to lack of my spouse’s kids birth certificates who are not even accompanying to Canada. I sent my application on 19 December and was rejected on February 19 and I received it on March 2. So scared now. Now, I am applying with birth certificates of my spouse kids in coming week. As my representative has it’s own online account and I won’t be able to access my file. Is there any way so I can see updates too.
Letter that come with it said REJECTED and also instructed to resubmit application with complete documentsWas your application rejected, or just sent back? I was trying to attach pictures to it so you can a look to it. But unsuccessfulPlease have a look to it
Just wondering my file also returned to my representative due to lack of some documents but the letter explaining said file rejected due to missing documents, was it same with you. Can you please let me knowMy rep. received my files so I don't know about the order/state of the file when they received it but I know that the form was there because i double the file with my rep before sending it out... yes it think we have the same IO unfortunately ... just wondering if we can get consideration for the time what we wasted due to this administrative error
The additional family form has nothing to do with dependants whether they are canadian citizens or not. Its a form that asks you to specify all the family members you have like mother, father, spouse, children, siblings half siblings etc. Everyone has to fill that form regardless of whether their spouse and children are already citizens or not. Your spouse who is the sponsor also needs to be mentioned and your child also needs to be mentioned in the form. Whatever does not apply to the Principal applicant (for eg if you dont have siblings then you write N/A). Summing it up only the principal applicant has to fill the form specifying the sponsor and kids in the same form itself.Hi (PA) here just wanna clarify or wanna get your thoughts about our situation. We submitted the application last dec. 2018 it was returned feb 2018 and until now we still did not an answer. IRCC Asked for additional family information. I did not submit it before coz i dont have any dependents. Me and my sponsor have a child and she already have her papers to prove shes a canadian. I sent a scan copy for the additional family info. To my sponsor so he can send the application right away. Still waiting for an answer. I am confused coz my IRCC said dependants might listed incorrectly, but I dont have . Coz shes a canadian so shes not my dependant.
