Guys, is anyone here a soft lander with 1 year or more absence ?? did it affect anything?

I am March 20th applicant from Mississauga, Test done on 9th January 2020 and status is Decision made from Scarborough office the next day.

No Oath invite yet, did anyone heard for Oath yet with a similar timeline?

Mar 16th applicant , missed the oath ceremony in February, was out of the country , no update after that , gave the webform , still waiting for the update.

it depends i guess. I have seen poeple got DM next day, and others waited for 5 months (before covid19) !!

I have contacted by MP office and all they have to say is "immigration is waiting for clearance from Health Canada" to conduct test.
I am march 2019 applicant and in process since July 2019.
RBC report says Citizenship application processing has been slowed by 67% and Permanent Resident application processing has been slowed by 80% and this backlog could last for several months.

While we are thinking how to be vocal, Canada's immigration minister is more worried about the Climate change initiative than to restart the immigration department.
