Yes, I do usually check my ECAS and its been DECISION MADE since November 15ths. I am still waiting for communication from CIC but an agent confirmed my OATH date and time for me.

Yaaay received the OAT invite email today. The ceremony will be on 31st January in Ottawa. Thank you very much to all of you guys and good luck for those waiting.

Finally my wife got email for test on 25th Jan, but I don't understand why it will be in Scarborough while we live in Mississauga, is this normal to send her that far?

Also I see someone removed me from the google sheet :(

I finally received an email yesterday for oath ceremony which is after 1.5 month of “Decision Made”.

I am not usually that much active here but I would like to thank everyone for their time and support through this journey.

last Update from the MP office:

We are pleased to provide you with the following details about the status of application for a Citizenship Adult Grant for *********:

  • The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on March 27, 2019.
  • The application was considered complete and an acknowledgment letter was emailed to the applicant on June 7, 2019.
  • The criminality verifications are currently valid.
  • The security verifications are in process.
  • The immigration verifications have not been initiated.
  • As per our current processing times, it may take up to 12 months to finalize the application,
    • if the applicant needs to travel during this time, they should apply to renew their permanent resident card if they are eligible.
  • The applicant has passed the citizenship test on November 13, 2019.
  • If the application is approved:
    • the next step is to wait for the ceremony appointment. At the ceremony, the applicant will take the oath and receive their citizenship certificate.
  • If the application is refused:
    • a refusal letter will be sent to the applicant to inform them of the decision, and
    • the Right of Citizenship Fee will be refunded.
