Yesterday went for the oath.
Even though i was in Calgary past 9 years, did my test from there and asked to do oath from there as well. CIC invited oath from Surrey, BC.

Oath was pretty fast and took me approximately 45 mins. However, 60% of the fellow New Canadians showed 1 hr after the mentioned start time. Due to which entire program was delayed. Not sure if it is the culture here or not, but Calgary has everything on time. Even my application was processed in less than 8 months!

Please update our status: Decision Made today, November 14th. :):)

Still stuck in "We started processing your application on July 2, 2019."

Got my test date for Wed 27th Nov at Scarborough :)
Wow, that's wonderful. You've got an invitation without even asking for urgent processing and you are not from Calgary/Edmonton/Winnipeg/Ottawa! I hope GTA starts moving now.

FINALLY got my test invite for 11/30, woot!

Quick question: the letter says to bring "all your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document
checklist in the citizenship application form);"

Wouldn't I have sent originals with my original application package?

Only originals required as per checklist were Police clearance, affidavits (if applicable)
Rest of the documents required copies as part of the original package
