Hello Everyone,

I have a question, what if after my Oath Ceremony i leave Canada (just in case of Emergency) without applying my Canadian Passport, I know i could leave Canada but how about coming back, what will i need to do to come back ? Please reply if anyone knows i shall be very grateful to you.

You need to wait for three business days to apply, and you can apply for expedite processing, I don’t think it’s a good idea to leave

The oath invitation says you need to wait for 48 hours before you can apply for passport so as to ensure they have entered your details into the Citizens database.
Yeah it's advisable you get your passport if you need to travel out. They have a 24-hour fast track process in case it's that urgent.

My wife received the test invite email recently . Our daughter (14) didn't receive. I know that she doesn't need to write the test but what about the interview? Does she have to have an interview with an officer?
For her last line in ECAS wrote :We started procesing your application on August 7, 2019

It's not really an interview but just a chat in my opinion. Only going through your passports to confirm some of your selected travels. And asking if you would be traveling soon in order not to be invited for oath while you're away. That's nothing to worry about.
Your daughter does not need the so called "interview" and you don't need to bother about her online status. They would invite you all for oath and the status will all change to "decision made".

What did they tell you at the interview? You were asked for the fingerprints right. Did they tell you that they received all the security clearance?

Yes and it’s been “decision made” after my test but haven’t booked me for a ceremony yet

A quick Question ... I have mentioned details of my last 3 passports in the application form, but I only have 1 current pass port with me, my last 2 passport were back home. Is it ok if i told them that i don't have previous old passport with me i the interview, since they asked to bring all the original documents. My current passport issue date is Jan 2015

Hi - This is very helpful tracker . Once I apply for citizenship , how can I ensure my application milestones are updated in this tracker ? Who updates/maintains this tracker ?

Just bring the current passport you have, they haven’t asked me about previous passports, as long as they’re expired I don’t think they will bother to check them.
