They will ask you during the interview if you have any upcoming travel plans.

It is an offense if you do not update your information. I moved to BC 3 weeks before my test date and I updated my driving license and all info asap. They asked me if I would like to take my oath in Vancouver.

Different topic but by updating driving license and insurance, I am paying over $100 less in insurance here in BC than AB!

I have an urgent case, yet, it is very slow compared to other urgent cases in other offices.

I cannot answer on the legality of address change, I know some students who kept their permanent address with their parents, not sure if this works.
However, I think you can change your address on legal documents (CRA, Driving license ... etc.) but you can just leave your old address with IRCC and all what you can do is a Canada Post Mail Forwarding service .. again, I am not sure if this is legal from IRCC point of view.

I don't believe they ask for Finger Prints in most cases. If you look at the submissions on this forum for March applicants, Finger Prints were requested in less than 20 out of over 130 applications. That's less than in 15% of the cases.

So, what do you think the FP request was for? Will processing get delayed.

Congratulations !!

How was your interview? How long was it? What did they ask you? And when did you apply?
Many thanks!

Interview is very short may be for 5-10 min.. Not really an interview. All they ask is about your family and work related like what, where, how kind of questions. Very straight forward. And also the documents they asked you to bring during the test invite.

It is showing "Decision Made" now . Just noticed today. Thanks

I do not know for sure what triggers a fingerprint request, but some have speculated here that it usually is because of name match in RCMP database.

Okay , I hope that I get my test invite soon.

All of you who worry and can't sleep at night remember one thing: there are people out there like me, from the Kitchener region. You will all get your passports and continue with your lives, but we from the Kitchener region - we will still be here, typing, waiting...
