To all my Fellow Pakistani applicants,
My application is "In Process" right now. I have 2 questions for you,

1) My Pakistani passport is expiring this December, if i renew it now do i have to update CIC about my new Passport ?
2) If i would like to travel to Pakistan, does my Passport has not to be expired within 6 months ?

You can travel normally to your home country with expiry of 6 months mean Pakistan..
If you really need or have a plan to Pakistan then renew your passport but you have to update to CIC... But I am hoping that you will get your Citizenship until December..

Just quick inquiries please, as I am thinking to go for one and a half month vacation outside the country and worried about getting FP request while I am outside:
1- Do they send FP request immediately with the ECAS update?
2- Do they mention a certain time to submit the FP?
3- Can the FP be taken in another country than Canada?

Appreciate your support and reply

1. Received an email with FP document attached on the same date
2. Fingerprints to be taken within 30 days from date on the letter
3. They mentioned the following website for fingerprint services

On this website its mentioned "To find an RCMP-accredited fingerprint company, search online: RCMP accredited fingerprinting company [city name]"

Hey guys,

I’ve called IRCC call centre today and told them that i haven’t received the email yet since 24th of June as mentioned in the ECAS
I’ve checked my inbox, junk and trash there’s nothing!
The agent told me that they’ve sent me an email on that day and he’s going to make a request so they resend it to me again!
I’m 100% sure i haven’t received anything, how could this happen?

I received 3 emails, one for me, my wife and daughter. I guess I was so happy and excited and I accidentally moved wife's email to separate folder. Took me 2 hours to find it. Don't know how that happened either, but 1000 different things can happen. Hope everything is gonna be okay with your email. Good luck.
