Question! Do I need to inform the immigration that I will be away for 3 weeks in July?
My application is still in Application Received status though.

I am not worried but I wanted to ask what if they sent us a test invite and we are away on the schedule date.
Anyone had experience this scenario?

I wouldn't do it if I were you, they might put you application in the bottom of the queue for that. I mean, who knows how do they work or how could this jeopardize your application process?

you can call CIC and ask them about the status. If they say that you application is not in their system then most probably they have not opened your application yet. Also sometimes application received date is not what you think application received date is. Did you track your package?

Yes I did track the application, and I got a confirmation from Canada Post showing delivery
