Once they are checked for completion they are sent to different offices based on your home address. That is also the point when you receive your AOR. So your processing office will depend on the city where you live. I live in Cambridge Ontario. Kitchener office handles application of ppl who lives in Kitchener, waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Hi everybody,
If anybody can help me please with few question

1. I checked my ecas status for my family and I noticed that my home address is correct but my mailing address is my previous home address.
So I tried to change the mailing address online through ecas.
But when I tried to change mailing address only its not allowing me and saying that I can't leave the home address fields blank (Note:My home address is completely correct.)
Shall I just copy the same in home address (even though no change is required) ?

2. I saw that it states application received and when I click on "Application received", it has two lines, 1st date received and second correspondence sent. In second line, it states date, a day later than I received the AOR. Is that okay ?

3. I saw in the forum that all our friends report "In process" so when can I expect to get in process ?

1. I don't think copy pasting same address will create any issue. To be on safe side u can call cic and update your address. Last week I called them to check my status and my address was old one on their file. So they updated it right away. I received my AOR next day and address there is correct. Plus my ecas is showing current home address only. No mailing address. Maybe coz my mailing and home address is same?

2. Shouldn't be an issue.

3. No one knows. Depends on your processing office and officer. Might be couple of weeks if I have to guess. But again in process is not going to mean a lot coz they will take time to send test invite or fp( if required). Few months at least.

When did you receive your AOR? And where do you live? Can't access Excel sheet on phone
