Does anyone here know the time duration after AOR. Does it indeed take 1 year for oath ceremony or decision made?

No one knows for sure over here. Some people have done in 3 months, some in 18 months
Yes, this is the reason CIC have said 12 months avg

Its not something in anyone of our hands in the forum
Apply and get on with your life

Ok dude, chill and you don't have to be rude. Also when you speak, speak for yourself. There are a lot of people on this forum know much more or less than you. Apparently, it's within 6-7 months because they want applications to be cleared faster ahead of the elections in October.

Wasn't trying to be rude, apologies

I was only making an observed point. If you know its 6-7 months, then good, all the best to us

I don't find any element of rudeness here. Yes,cursor 18 is right. Its just that people should have the element of patience and carry on with their day to day life as the processing takes its precedence.

Hi. As I am still waiting for the AOR, exactly how many AOR letters should I expect? My application included 3 family members: myself, my spouse, and my child (minor).

You will receive 3 letters. In my case, I received 3 (mine and my two kids), and my wife received hers.

Now I don't know what's going on!
I checked my status online today and it states "application received". Nothing else.
The "home address" is as stated in my application, but my mailing is my previous address. Did they send my AOR to my old address?
One weird thing: my spouse application was included in the package but no update on her status online.
I'm confused right now.
