Hi everyone, I received a citizenship test invite this week to take the test on Dec 19. I immediately sent an email to IRCC requesting for a re-schedule as I will be in the middle of my vacation overseas. Today, I came to know about the nightmares people are going through after re-scheduling their test, in some cases there has been no correspondence from IRCC even after 3 months from the day they initially made the reschedule request. I didnt know that it would be this much of a hassle, knowing this I am prepared to cancel my vacation, eat the $$$ loss and attend the test as per the appointment. Do I have to send another email now asking them to ignore my re-schedule request? or can I just go attend the test despite the reschedule request I sent 2 days ago? Please help, i cant get hold of any agents on the phone

Hello All. I did my citizenship test on the 27ths in Ottawa and passed it. Recieved invitation on 12th November. Now waiting for oath. Goodluck to everyone waiting.

Same with me as well. I applied on Feb 28th and it started processing on June 4th. No idea why i have not received my test invite yet. Anyone has any updates on this, please shed some light on it.

Took my test today (Scarborough). 20/20 (phew!).

My Oath Ceremony date is December 4th (next Wednesday). Thank you (and good luck) everyone!

Congratulations! Were you told during your interview the date and time of your oath ceremony? Or did you get an e-mail?

I told them I'm moving to Ottawa late December and it sounded like I was able to get a last minute spot next week, otherwise I would have had to come back (to Toronto, from Ottawa) early next year. The Interviewer was really nice, very helpful. Was honestly a great experience with all employees there.

So to answer your question: I got the pink form/sheet on-the-spot today.

Don’t be,
I believe if you study you’ll pass. Unfortunately, it’s against the law to reveal any sort of insight about the test.
Best of luck
