Guys i have a query regarding stamping of Visa in passport. Is it stamped in Chandigarh, India ( if submitted in Chandigarh) or all the PR visas get stamped in New Delhi. Since they mention to submit passport in New Delhi visa office in ppr

Is there any way to find about security screening from GCMS notes.. I got notes on june

it seems your note is a little bit out of date. (it has been long)
but there is a section in the note called security. if you are under security screen, there will be a S(15).1 mark on the right and a few lines blank.

No, you can't do an upfront remedical unless they ask for it as it's upto them to ask for remedical or simply extend your medical

@PandaOnCloud Congratulations! It was a long wait but it was worth it! Also, did they ask you for a re-medical? I had this question since my medicals expire on Feb 28th and my passport is in the consulate now for stamping. I am worried that they might just give me a visa for until my medical expiration which would be a very short period.

Hey all,

For those who are still waiting to hear back on a decision, I wanted to lay out the facts of my case (kinda echoing everyone else's as well) about the updates to my application. Just letting you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. So here goes my application updates:

• AOR - March 06, 2019. Paid RPRF upfront.
• Medicals Passed - April 18, 2019
• Biometrics Completed - April 26, 2019
• No update between April 26, 2019 till January 03, 2019
• Request Letter - January 03, 2019

Application Facts:

• Single applicant
• Applied for Express Entry
• Applied from the US (Indian citizen)
• Application processed by Montreal Visa Office

During this period I also ordered GCMS notes 3 times. I ordered the first set right at the time of application. Received the GCMS notes in April and per my expectations, there had been no updates to the application by then. The second time I ordered the notes was in September 2019 when after 30 days, GCMS wrote back saying the processing for GCMS notes has been delayed by a max. of 90 days. STILL NO UPDATE ON THE SAME. I then ordered another set of notes in December 2019, and have not heard back from GCMS yet.

Thanks @vish123, I did take re-medical since previous one expired on Dec 19.
