I applied in my maiden name. I included marriage cert because health card/drivers licence were in my married name and pr card/passport were in my maiden name so I just wanted to prove that I was the same person. A lovely agent rang me and asked me would I like my application in my married name and I said yes. I brought the cert to the test/interview and they did ask for it. It's not a requirement for a normal application.

Thank you for the reply! I was also guessing that way. My test was today. That's why why I thought of confirming it :)

I had my Test/ Interview today. Passed and got 20/20. The test was very easy.

I had prepared well. If you read the book 2 or 3 times and practice some online tests (free ones) it will be really easy.

The officer who interviewed was a good lady. Verified passports and travel stamps on it for travel dates and verified PR card and Drivers License. Took the second sheet of the Test invitation (restriction/ probation something like that). Got signature on another sheet with her. Meanwhile talking and some general questions. Was a nice experience.

Hello Everyone,
I took my Citizenship Oath yesterday and today my ECAS status has been updated to Complete.

I wish best of luck to everyone who are still waiting for their turn and hope that they get their test/oath invitation soon.

Thanks you everyone here for answering my questions, everyone has been very helpful in this thread.

So you can either get paper or email for oath?

Guys is there any one still left from March applicants, waiting for test invite? Anyone able to move their file successfully? Will they be looking at the forgotten lot?

I hope we get soon!!!

I believe many many Mississauga applicants are in your position. Those who got their test invites before 1 year from their application date seem to be the exceptions and not the new norm.
