FINALLY! Got my Oath Invitation today by email! Hallelujah!!
Actually they send email twice, same info though, lol

Oath Invitation by email: Feb 8, 2019
Citizenship ceremony: Feb 26, 2019

Strange thing is that ceremony is scheduled in Saint-Leonard, Quebec, even though I live in Montreal
Very very happy nonetheless!! Those waiting please hang in there! I was miserable yesterday, checking ECAS like crazy and now I finally have the invitation!!

Don't worry, your timeline looks completely normal. You can see other peoples' times in the spreadsheet (link below). Please remember not to focus only on those people whose app is going faster than you..it does feel like forever, but you will hear back from them soon.

Hey! Yes, you can bring it in the testing room, you'll just have to put it under your seat while taking the test.

Took the test today at Mississauga location. Got 20 on 20.. thanks to online tests lol. Was able to finish it in less than 4 mins and that was the plan as tihere were over 60 people for the test and I didnt want to wait for the interview as its based on whoever finished the test first.

Interviewer didnt ask even a single question. Funnily enough half the conversation was not in English as the interviewer initiated speaking in our mother tongue once he checked my background lol. So he just said that he is approving my application and should hear back regarding oath invite within 1-2 weeks.

Now awaiting oath invite.

Mississauga applicant that just got his test invite for February 21 at the Glen Erin Drive location. I am advised that the time to appear is 7.45 am, is this the time of commencement of the exam, or the earliest time to show up at the location ?

Here is a synopsis of my timeline for the sake of completeness:

Applied: March 8, 2018
AOR: March 26, 2018
In Process: June 4, 2018
Test Invitation: Feb 8, 2019
Physical presence: 1552.5

I suggest show up 20 mins early. I had test today at same location at 1215 and they did start checking in everyone at 12.

Lucky you, by the look of it you pretty much nailed the interview the moment you sat down.
Now onto the final lag of the race. Once your status changed to DM, you are pretty much in the oath queue (about 99%).

This is the recent trend now. We will be lucky if we get test invite in another 6 months.
