Yeah, that was really unusual because you, the candidate (and I don't mean anything) could fail the test and not being eligible for DM... interesting... congratulations! ^.^

Vancouver. New ceremony slot opened up just on the day I completed the test. They checked if I am available and added me to that slot.[/QUO

Test Date: October 24, 2018 . (passed at Hamilton ON office)


Just took the test today and passed 20/20 so decision is still not made however the officer said waiting time is around 3-4 months for Oath Ceremony. From the sound of it Hamilton is not the fastest.

I am a March 2018 applicant.

My wife and I received email invite to appear for Citizenship test and interview. Location: Kitchener, Test date and time: Jan 3, 2019 at 9:30 am ET. Please update the spreadsheet. PS: We requested urgent processing (wife's job related)...and based on Kitchener office's backlog..it looks like they accepted our request to expedite. Not sure. We will likely know when we meet with the officer for interview. Thanks

You will meet the officer after the exam in the same day, so take with you all the original copies of all documents submitted with your application (everything) including landing confirmation, during the interview you will know exam result and the officer decision regarding your application.

I do not think so, he just got test invite pretty quickly that'sit. Pretty sure if he calls them they will robotically remind him about 1 year processing time. I have completed my test on September 10 next day - decision was made, during the interview the officer told me to expect to receive an oath sometime in February/ March.

I do not think his case is abnormal - but do not think calling will help, however he can still call just to be on safe side
