Hi room,

oomuchi please dont mind and do not misunderstand me.
Its only my suggestion and based on my experience.
Recently I am done with my test... so just referring the quiz urls or applications is not a good idea.

Please please concentrate only on the Guide which we got from CIC "Discover Canada".
Because the questions are were very tricky.

Thanks for the feedback!!! :), but the URL was just a tip for others to practice.:D
 It did not mean we should not read the book .
On the contrary, since for us to practice something, we must at least read it once, right?

and here for those who prefer the audio version of Discover Canada:

Yes
Application received - March/22
AoR - April/13
IP - July/18
Waterloo,ON...
and no, they do not say anything by phone...

I think around half of people here (or a bit less), are in your situation which makes it normal. I'm in process since 18 June and nothing yet as well.

Based on spreadsheet April applicant Waterloo, GTA, Brampton, Mississauga, Kitchener,Oshawa all this cities of Ontario province 95% still in process status. Who ever have got test invite and DM they are out of mentioned cities. Disadvantages of big cities.

I am a March 2018 applicant, in process since June 20. I received my GCMS notes effective oct 22 and there is absolutely no update on my file except criminality which is marked passed. Everything else has not started.

Well done Kitchener office, hope things move a tad bit faster.

Test Date :- October 31st
Decision Made - November 5
Oath invite: November 20
Oath Date :- December 18th
Thanks

where did you go to see the check on your criminality?

Is my situation normal?
I am in process since june 25 no test invitation yet.
I live in montreal
Still within 12months. It's normal until you passed the 12 month mark.
However I will give them a call to see if there is anything or even order gcsm notes.

OMG in process since June 20 until now no test date yet. I know in IRCC website 12 months timeline but still its hard to wait that long while others getting test date who applied after you. Which processing area you are in. If you have passed criminality and background check, you wont need finger print as I know. You will get directly test invitation sometime soon I guess.

Seriously, everyone needs to chill. Please be aware of selective perception:
You only see the cases that move faster than normal, you only read and worry about why they are so fast. Meanwhile your brain ignores the majority of cases that are still in process. That's like only seeing that one person making more money than you but not seeing the many many people who make less money than you.

Look at the spreadsheets and you will see most people are still in process. There is no ATIP request, no call, no worrying about some random detail in your application that will make your application go faster.

Situation:
Think of being at city hall, 100 people waiting to be called. They told you "you have to wait for an hour normally". But 30 minutes in, about 20 people's names were already called.

Some forum members here:
OMG I wonder what is wrong with me? Is it because I didn't say "hello" when I walked in? Am I sitting in the wrong corner of the waiting room? Let me run to the counter and ask what's up.

What you should think instead:
Well, they told me it will take one hour, and so far only 20/100 people have been called, so probably everything is normal. Good for those who got called early, but that always happens, nothing unusual here.

I don't want to get too meta, but comparing yourself to others too much can drive you insane, don't overdo it. There is always someone whose citizenship application got processed faster, there is always someone who got a better deal on that flight, there is always someone who got that last ticket for the Lady Gaga concert.

Is it worth freaking out about it? No.

It's pretty sunny in most of Canada today, grab a coffee with a friend, no AOR needed!

Hi guys, I took my citizenship exam on October 15. Do you know how long it will take to be invited to the ceremony in Alberta province?
