i applied for citizenship for me and my 2 sons in march 17 in Edmonton,(a representative had done it for me).until now no AOR (almost 2 months wait),i am so worried as i see most of the march applicants have received an AOR,what might be the reasons?
I called the cic today,the agent told me my application is not opened yet,so what does it mean?it is missing documents?and she told me that it shows that i paid the fees,but they did not withdraw it yet!
Appreciate your advice

It's normal.
You can receive OAR within 3 months.
They did not touch your papers to see if something was missing or not ... that's the meaning when they said that they have not opened yet.
We need patience.

So i called the cic today again ,while on hold ,the automated message was :we are now processing april 6,2018 applications..finally the agent replied,she confused me more saying that there is no application under my name!she can see the fees paid but no application received!
I called the guy that helped me fill the application and send it,to ask him about the canada post tracking number,his answer was oh it was lost
I really don’t know if my application was lost since the cic people don’t have it yet!
What to do?please advice

Many of the agents really don't know what they are talking about. I believe they can track your payment easily since you paid online. However, they can't claim the application is lost as it's simply not processed. I advise to give them some more time; if you check the sheet, there are few people who got their AoR 3 months after submission.
Another option that you can always do (if you don't feel like waiting) is to submit another application.
