Hello Everyone !
I have a general question about CPC location. I’ve lived in Saskatchewan for 3 years and currently in Edmonton from last 1.5 year just for college and returning to Saskatchewan once my study is done. When I applied for my citizenship last week, I put my residence address of Edmonton but mailing address of Saskatchewan. Though I m in Edmonton now, I maintains my residency from Saskatchewan by filing income tax there and all my documents shows Saskatchewan address because I’ll be returning to Saskatchewan in July. So my question is, where would be my CPC location ? Edmonton or Regina ?
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks folks in advance.

Hi,

Have you mailed your application thru registered mail that gives you the tracking number OR just thru regular mail? I believe you should get your AOR soon. There are few other applicants in this group who sent their applications on March 5th, 6th, and 7th...so, let's wait for a day or two more. Also, it was a long weekend. I am also waiting for my AOR.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

I received it on 3 April ( 3 days ago). I had sent it with tracking number option, I guess long weekend was cause of delay. thank you for your respond.

Regards,
Mark.

AOR on apr 5th. Applicstion reached on 19 march

Good to hear. I'd rather you give IRCC a call just to ensue they have the right email address for your wife. There has been cases where the email address was wrongly typed in the system and that would explain why she didn't receive her AoR via email.

Your local CPC will be the one close to your current residential address which you already put in the application (in this case Edmonton).

How do I check the status in ECAS?

You won't be able to check your application online before you receive AoR.

The come on any day and any time.

I highly encourage you not to be obsessed by AOR. A quick AOR does not mean that that person will get citizenship quicker. Things can go slow and fast many times during the process. Unless it's been 8 weeks since your app got submitted, there is no need to be concerned if you didn't receive AOR yet. It seems that nowadays some people get AOR fast, but my AOR (also March application) took over a month. I simply set myself a reminder to check after a month.

Don't freak out.
