Hello! I am Maureen. I just want to ask bacause I noticed your physical presence days is 1141. My husband is 1267. I just have a question regarding the application wherein it ask if you stayed 183 days in another country in the last 4 years and if yes it says you need a police clearance. For the last 4 years he stayed 210 days back home waiting for the approval of the application before landing as an immigrant here in Canada. Does he still need yo get police clearance from backhome for those days even if he is just waiting for the approval of his application? Your answer will mean so much to us. If you can tell me what you answered in your applicatin. Thank you so much in advance. Have a good day!

They need PC if you stayed out of Canada 183 days or more after becoming landed immigrant/ permanent resident or what they call ‘the relevant period’. They can also ask you to provide a PC if you have too many exits from Canada during the relevant period. But before becoming a landed immigrant they already have your PC that’s why they gave you the visa.
