Completed 13 months. CEC inland applicant. Medical expired on Feb 28 th. Absolutely no updates on my file. No so called ghost updates as well. Medical still says you passed medical examination. I am not sure if it was extended or something.. until last week my application was still in the same status waiting for officer review. Definitely losing hopes now. Already in Canada so it's even more frustrating

Hi Akhs, I am in the same situation, medical expired on March 10th, no update... No ghost, eligibility review required. In Canada since 2016... What is your VO ?

...Hi guys, I received an email yesterday titled “ready for visa” and asking me send my passport and other documents within 30 days. But I checked my application online, nothing has changed, it still says eligibility under review. My medicals had expired a month ago and I was never asked for any extra documents so far.

You really want to wait after your AOR being Mar'18?
That is the email you have been waiting for so long. So yes go ahead and submit your passport.
It will change only when they issue COPR which will happen when you send your passport.

My file is under RR as well,, did they ask you for new job letter or you just send by yourself I just want to know after RR status how they work , did they ask anything or we just have to wait

I was also asked to do a new medical which I did last week. I submitted my original application on 10th March 2018. I will wait until I hear back!
I am in a similar situation and asked the same question. I was asked for a new medical exam recently which I did only last week. But I really don't want to do anything further regarding background check and my status on that sill shows that is is in process.
It seems from what I see in the thread that things move quickly after submission of the updated medical exam.

Did you call CIC asking them what should be done.. my medicals expired on Feb 28 th..I have not seen any updates. I really thought after medicals expire they would finally take the file and start processing it . That has not happened in my case. I really don't know what to do.

Did you speak to them or raised a CSE complaining it has been way past processing time??
Yes I did once in February and once two weeks ago I had called CIC and the agent over the phone. Told me she is raising a request to be sent to the case officer and we should expect a reply in one month's time. First time we received a reply stating in queue waiting for review by a visa officer. That was way back in feb. Not w it's 13 months plus..and no sign of any movement .
