Hi everyone,

My AOR is March 8th 2018, my medicals expired in February and I recently got asked to re-do them....for those of you who did and submitted the results already, have you received any news? I am praying and hoping that this 2nd request means PRR could be coming soon...

Also, for inland applicants, I see some of you are wondering why you were not asked to redo your medicals....it is my understanding that in your case, they are more often than not automatically extended

I got my PPR request on April 8th. I was asked for re-medicals on 28th of March. After 375 days long wait, I could see the PPR email. I have been continuously following this thread and it definitely gave me positive vibes whenever I lost hope. Guys, don't loose hope. The email is on your way for most of you guys who has not received it yet.

Just called IRCC and I spoke with an agent to enquirer about my security and criminality status on for her to come back after 5 mins of wait to tell “it’s still as it is and not started yet” . Is this possible? After 13 months and 14 days of waiting. Is it that she only view my profile status with making proper enquiry with a processing officer? Becos I was asked to re-do my medical after 1 year in the wait and it’s reall disheartening if they are yet to commence security screening. My profile platform still says “background check not started and they will send me a mail when they start” after a whole year. Anyone in this position??

That's really frustrating, but I read many cases here where they get BG checks in matters of days. I mean your case might be expedited once picked... who knows....? Just to give you hope, my case is over 13 months and I have passed everything back in January... still no news at all and whenever I contact them they give me nothing...

This is a case by case thing and I wish you the best luck with the wait...
