Hi everyone,

Finally! When my application turned 4 months old, it turned to IP2.
Important to note: I didn't receive any email adivising of changes. I just happened to login to my account and saw that it had moved. Therefore, don't know if today or yesterday.

My timeline:

FSW-Outland (Brazil)
AOR: March 25th
Meds passed: April 6th
IP2: July 23rd or 24th (the due date in GCMS notes for this step was showing July 14th o_O)
Visa Office: Ottawa
Family of 2 (Me + husband)

So, my advice to you... don't just wait for an e-mail showing that your application was changed. Login everyday and keep positive! My application has taken so much longer than my sister's or friends' that I was starting to lose it... but it's just that CIC has more apps to check now that they increased the drawees.

Now, a new wait for PPR begins!

Good luck to all!
Hey there,

Don't worry cause I have also gone through the same cycle and all I will say is be rest assured as your PPR email is on the way.

I believe it should come through during this week or by or before 10.08.2018.

Cheers...!!

Please please! I need advice from you guys.
I am currently in the U.K. on a tier 4 visa which expires early in August and I just phoned IRCC and was told my application is still in the eligibility stage and I presume it would be another 1 or two months. The problem is I am of Indian nationality and my parents will be here in the U.K. from the first week of August up until the first week of September for my only sister’s wedding. The U.K. embassy in India is slow in granting visitors visa so If I go back to India and reapply for a U.K. visitors visa to come for my sisters wedding, the wedding would have been over by the time I’m granted. My friend suggested that I just overstay my visa for 20 days which will be till after my sister’s wedding.. he suggested it as it is a permanent residency application and not a visitor visa and it won’t have adverse effect on the application.

Please can anyone advice? Can i get away with overstaying at this point of my application?

Hey Guys!

I called up IRCC guys today through Skype and luckily got through them in possibly an hour's time.

Honestly speaking I was quite annoyed to learn literally no action has taken so far since the file was submitted on 23.03.2018 and all the executive said to me is;

1. Your eligibility looks very good and still not passed - 2nd review pending
2. Criminality and Security yet to be started.

He had only so much to say and lastly was unable to comment anything else as the file is still under 6 months criteria.

I thought must share this info with you all so you can possibly help or share your experiences with me and advise me on further course of action.

Thanks in Advance.
You seriously got ppr in2 days after posting this?? Wow!!

The pic is not clear
They said All family members are required to be examined before you go to Canada. My query is what kind of research they want to do.
And At the time of arrival, you will be interviewed , and granted entry into canada based on the information in the documents that we are providing to you now. My question is they will take interview there???

You should get your GCMS Notes in 30 to 40 days.

And I would say call IRCC from your end as well. There are possibilities of changes soon in your account.
