Also I have seen people getting replies when raising CSE and if they are put into SS like " You application is transferred to a special unit and is still in process. While this review will result in an additional delay rest assured we will make sure your application gets finalized soon"
For me they said," We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with the application.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed."
I got a reply similar to yours several time after crossing 6 months. Even the note received after that did not show any sign of SS

It just breaks my heart to read your cases. This is just insane! Especially when Ottawa is already issuing PPRs to people from August / September!! I don't know how they even justify this. I have heard people saying every file is unique and may have its unique complications. But, when the files don't even get touched for months and AORs from months later are getting PPR .. IRCC really needs to think hard ... these are not just files..

I completed 4 months yesterday and even the wait for 4 months has been almost unbearable. I can't begin to imagine how you guys must be feeling. I pray you get to hear something soon. It's sad that even multiple CSEs have not helped. I don't know what else one can do to make IRCC to take up the files. This is utter BS on IRCC's part.

I am beginning to contemplate the idea of sending a mail to the minister to explain this.

Personally, I don't think it will help. But, I would still suggest you do it. It's better to do something even if it doesn't work than doing nothing at all.

And who knows may be I'm proven wrong and it does change something. My best wishes!

Folks went through my gcms notes completely. I observed the below, I am sure this will be very useful to you.

1) I have about 10yrs of experience across 5 companies, 4 in current and 2 yrs in 2 and 1 yr in 2. I submitted all reference letters as per CIC specification, including the email chain from which I received those letters.

But only my current and last previous company's experience was taken, rest all were not taken into account.

2) I specified noc code 2173 and 0213 but the agent has changed it to 2171 with a clear explanation. So I hope wrong noc codes will be tolerated by cic to a certain extent.

3) Same GCMS notes shows my Mexico PCC was uploaded on Jun 19th by Mexico VO, but the application was put on Hold status with the comment "Awaiting Mexico PCC" on Aug 24th.

Seems like there is a front end and back end team and for some reason they dont talk to each other. I called IRCC and the Mexico city VO on Sep 20th and got the PPR instantly on the call itself.

Hope this helps, from my experience I suggest everyone to call IRCC and raise gcms. All the best to everyone waiting..

Did your notes show your security and criminality as started? And if yes, what was the date on those vs your ppr date.

FSW-O

Both Security and Criminality were not started as per notes. GCMS was requested on Sep 18th, PPR was on Sep 20th.
Interesting. So even two days before ppr system was not updated. Thanks! I was thinking whether to order my second set. Seems like Montreal doesn’t update anything till last day. I guess ordering second set is not going to be useful

Hi, I've been trying to call CIC from outside Canada at the above number. I got through a 2 times a few months ago, however I haven't had any luck in the last 60 days at all. (They are always too busy). I have a suspicion that they block application number after a few calls from getting through anymore. Any other way to get through to an agent without entering you application number? I usually go through the long process of 1 1 1 1 1 2 etc etc. Please help. AOR 23rd March, IP1, waiting for the past 7 months. Ridiculous.

On call with IRCC, what was it that you asked or what were your standard questions for them to let you know that you are ppr ready?

Try this,

In my case the agent was giving me the same answer that my Mexico PCC hasnt arrived. I informed that I got confirmation from Mexico VO that it has been submitted 3 moths ago. But the agent was trying to logically reason that, then suddenly he put me on hold and I received an update on my cic application. It was a request for mexico pcc with 30 days deadline.

So I ended the call with that agent asap and went to call the Mexico VO. It was a big hassle to reach them, by the time I reached an officer. She mentioned that my pcc was sent in june. Again she put me on a long hold, while waiting on the hold I got the PPR mail. Wasnt able to hold any longer in that call, coz as soon as I got my PPR I wanted to do something similar to my boss for a long time. :)

Interesting, the same thing has happened to me. I called a couple of times a few months ago and got to talk to an agent with no issues in the first attempt. However, I've been trying to call during the last three weeks and every time I call I get the "high volume of calls" message.

Not only are they slow but they have a terrible customer service. Is there a way to escalate these people?

They don't give updates, they don't provide meaningful responses when e-mails are sent to them and now it seems they won't take your calls even when you have clearly exceeded the 6 months mark. This is unacceptable.
