I got email yesterday, which I checked today. My application on mycic has been updated and the application has been approved, background check has been completed. The CoPR date is 13 July and I should have me passport early next week at best or by late, late next week as it has to cross the border to get here.

I feel bit strange. Starting the journey back in 2013, after one refusal and one return, both in 2014. 6 IELTS in total, lots of disappointment, agony for not getting the required score, the journey is finally over. Things have moved so fast since IP2 on June 22, I haven't really got to enjoy this moments, mostly cos of work. Also living alone, away from family and not much friends in the city, celebration has been limited to self only. But most importantly, the feeling of when it will be approved, whether it will be approved, when this long journey will be over, all those feelings are gone for ever. And trust me, after 5 years of having those feelings, it feels strange not to have 'em. I am sure there are lot many things to look forward too.

Now the most difficult thing is to leave behind aging, uneducated parents with no siblings residing in home country and relatives, only for the sake of relation and of no use at all.

Hello guys, need some help...
Received my GCMS notes today, can anyone help me understand these notes. Following is the major information received in the notes from page 2:
Eligibility: passed
Security: not started
Hirv:
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed
Info sharing: complete

And here is my timeline. AOR: 10 march,
Med: 18 March, IP2: 18 June.
Can i consider myself in safe zone now lol???

yours was in CIO sydney during IP2 right till ppr.. how many days it took from ip2 to ppr? mine is similar scenario

yes Ajay, Ip2 was 6 weeks , it was approved Jun 6 , but they hold the mail until july 8 and by jul 10 they moved to ottawa and PPR mail was sent.

Many many congratulations. Your timeline and mine starting from ITA is so much similar, just my AOR was 10 days earlier, IP2 same day, PPR same day from CIO too and of course, yet to receive notes lol.

That's nice to know Seems like both of our cases were processed at the CIO through out the whole time. How come you received CoPR on 9 July when the application was approved on 13 July?

The date of issue on the stamp in my passport says 9th July so I think the tracker was updated on 13th July when they approved the application.

Ah ok, I assumed Application Approved date itself is a CoPR!

Guys.... I received my passport request letter from Delhi immigration office this morning i.e 16-Jul 10am IST.

Can’t begin to tell how happy I was to see this email. Thanks to everyone on this forum for solving queries and of course being a huge source of encouragement.
