If it's complete they will send email(AOR1). If it's not complete they will send you the file back. The avarage waiting time is 40 to 42 days.

Ooh God.. I think i used one form which was updated but already got my husband's signature on old one so i didnt used the new form. Will that effect my application and they will return it.?

Hi. I got PR (without accompanying spouse and 2 kids). Now I plan to land in Canada and sponsor spouse and kids.

I read on cic website that permanent resident living in Canada can sponsor his spouse and his dependent children.

My question is:

Can I make a soft landing in Canada and apply for spousal sponsorship and return to Pakistan for wrapping up things and move back to Canada again in 3 months ? Or

Do I need to show my income or tax return or PR card (which takes 4 months to deliver) while sponsoring spouse and kids?

Hi everyone,
On 5th, July 2018, we mailed an outland spousal sopnsorship application to the Nova scotia office from Pakistan.

We still havent received any sort of communication from cic, no login i.d or received confirmation.

Is it normal for them to take this long for a received acknowledgement.

submitted medical in May 2018
Got an update in June that "We started processing your application"

No more documents were asked from us.

Haven't gotten any update ever since.

Any idea what is going to happen and when?
