What should l do?

PS: I have emailed my local VO but no response until now ;
I tried calling CIC but didn't manage to talk to an agent.

CIC in Canada is not going to say anything, called them multiple times. one answer -file is in local office, we do not see any details on that, contact them. Local office do not respond either as they have a disclaimer that they will answer if your file is outside of processing time, which is 12 months...and Marry goes round...I really do not know how this process user friendly?

Hello folks! You guys are talking about a particularity of Visa exempt countries. What is it? Does it mean I wont need to send my passport to have a VISA stamped and will receive kind of a letter to cross the border? I am a bit confused on how it will be. March applicant here and still waiting

I see some cases where visa exempt applicants dont get the ppr and go straight to a copr. I dont know if thats going to be normal but it would streamline things a bit more for visa exempt country apps.

That happened to us, but I don't really understand the criteria of how they pick because I know many visa exempt who got PPR.

From Brazil but I have the ETA and I am also a Portuguese citizen.

Got it, Brazil isn't visa exempt, Portugal is.

Either way like I said above, we are visa exempt and did not get PPR. I know a number of visa exempt applicants who did get PPR so who knows.

Hello all, today my wifes myCIC status changed from we do not need any additional documents to "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.:

There is no message or email indicating which document is required. My wifes file is at NDVO, did any ones status changed to this..? or is it a glitch like few months ago..?

My timeline is in my signature.

Did you order Gcms notes in the last few weeks? Some people noticed this section changes to we need more documents when gcms get generated. Also, has your background check started yet?

Yea i ordered GCMS Notes after getting tired of no updates last week and no BCG has not yet started still waiting...its dreadful wait time.
