Hello all! Received PPR today!!!


Here is my timeline:

App sent: March 29th

AOR1: April 18th

SA: April 22nd

Meds Request: April 25th

Meds Done: May 10th

Schedule A/PCC Request: June 14th

ECAS “In Process”: June 27th

File transfer/AOR2: June 30th

Background Check “In Process”: October 24th

Received “Pre Arrival Services” Letter: October 26th

Request for CSQ: November 3rd

PPR: November 8th

Visa Office: Vienna

Hi did ecas change to decision made? In my visa office they have the passports (PPR), i got pre arrival letter. But ecas still says in process.

I have also applied on 22nd march 2017.
File transferred to LVO on september 26th 2017.
Yesterday i received pre arrival services letter. There is no DM or PPR yet.
What you think guys what is the status of my application?

Congrats! When did you send PP and received by VO?

Thanks, i am from visa exempt country so just sent a copy of my PP and two photos on 10/26/2017.. was received the next day by VO

Good to know! They are so good at updating. Only makes us anxious. Ideally they should change it to decison made when they send pre arrival services letter.

We already submit sch a and pcc

Did you get confirmation that they received your sch A and pcc? Our application had no movement for a couple months and I called several times. Finally someone opened the file and said they had never received them- even though they had been requested through GCKey and uploaded. I had to email to clarify that they were actually received. We had confirmation that they were received within a few days and our application has been mostly straightforward since then

I received my COPR in the mail yesterday.

WHen did you mail it to them? How long between PPR and CoPR?

I received PPR on October 19. I mailed the required documents to Ottawa on October 20. Then I received my COPR in the mail on November 6.

Hi!!! I got passport request at 6th Nov. But still my status is in processing .I didn't get any PPR.But in ECAS my status is "Decision Made".they just update my status in "
We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
". Is there anything to worry??

Still wait in "In Progress" status. The Immigration Consultant we hired emailed the VO in Rome and, after about a month, they responded thusly:

"Please be informed that your file is in queue to be reviewed by a Migration Officer and you will receive updates soon."

My partner is so optimistic that she thinks "soon" literally means soon. I'm not so optimistic and feel that "soon" is just a vague way of saying "go away and wait longer".

Any opinions on who is right? Like so many of you, we are really getting anxious, especially with the holidays coming soon.

a lot of us still are. who knows what soon means in their terms. i think you need to be realistic with your partner and advise that soon could be still another 3-4 months

your post is confusing as it says you got passport request then you didnt get ppr... did you or did you not receive a request for a passport request? if you did then follow the instructions.. if you didnt, then call CIC and ask them to resend the communication
