That link you are referring to is not specific to your status, everyone has that on their ecas page. It just describes the various statuses you may see on your application as you go through the process. For your specific status you have to click on "In Process" in the box where it says "Sponsorship Application Status".

Oh okay. That makes sense. Thank you!

Is it possible to submit imm5669 and pcc with supporting documents by mail when the time comes?
I also want to do the same, because the scanned imm5669 is bigger than the upload limit. so I sent the unscanned one with the last hand-signing page, since then no reply heard.

Well friends, looks like I'll be joining the April thread. My application has now been returned twice. I really, truly, feel like an idiot. Why is it that so many people get this right and I keep messing up?

There were two reasons noted:

1) We only included the 2015 NoA, not 2016
2) We listed my (PA) mailing address in Canada and did not include the Use of a Representative form

Resending tomorrow. Hopefully third time is the charm.

Feeling pretty upset even though I expected this after reading about the above issues on the forum. It seems so unfair that they return applications based on requirements that are not even listed in the instructions. Oh well.

Hi All,

We did not get the PCC and Schedule A upload request.

Should we upload Schedule A before they ask? or should we wait?

Please advise if anyone had similar situation.
Thanks

Really sorry to hear that.... But don't rush - check very carefully what you include, maybe ask someone (friend..etc.) to have a look as well. I am sure third time is indeed a charm! :) Don't be upset!

so sorry to hear that Viva-c.
what I would suggest is, lay it all out, read line by line the instructions and arrange accordingly.

I probably would have had mine returned too, but then I decided to spread it all out on the bed and I began to look at the checklist one after the other, line by line then I saw I missed sth which I quickly included. take your time on it, don't rush.

Wish you all the best, I cant begin to imagine the disappointment.

i did the same. i looked it over about 19 times. i started filling the old app out in september... once the new forms were released we filled them out and put sticky notes EVERYWHERE with notes! we figured it out but it does take time and you will notice that certain things are missed when reviewing. best of luck!

Anyone here having a problem with their MyCiC account? Did you get any correspondence regarding with your Sched A?

Thank you!

Anna

lool so trueee. I checked mine over and over too. I filled the form three times as well. first on a plain paper, 2nd on the actual printed form and 3rd on computer and printed out.
it took us 3 days but at the end it was worth it, cox I would definitely cry and take it out on my husband for sure if the file had been returned.
Cant wait to put all these behind us cox even though it was not retuned, the stress of not knowing exactly what is going on, the wait, the silence.... it is nerve wrecking.
And we have a VO that is known to be ridiculously slow from the other thread I have been following.

thats too funny because i hand wrote them twice, then entered them on the computer, printed it, made notes, then re did them looooooooooooooooool!!! our vo isnt VERY slow as well which is not fun!! hoping that were a straight forward enough case to just breeze through!

At least this second time, I truly did the same. I followed the checklist and everything to a T and went over everything a thousand times. It was extremely organized. Neither of the reasons my application was returned are things that are covered on the checklist. : ( There was no way for me to know they would not accept the 2015 NOA (it is still, technically, the most recent taxation year) and the Use of a Representative form for your spouse to receive your mail is not covered anywhere either. I only learned about it by reading this forum.
