Send Application on 27th march 2017

Received on 29th March 2017

Waiting for the response :(

How much time does it take to get a response from AOR ?

To get more info on that you can have a look at the March spreadsheet. But in general it can take from few days to a month (like in my case). And also take into account that they were not working on the past long weekend. But in any case you always can call.

Hi,
Can someone please tell me the difference between AOR1 and AOR2. I just read an above comment that PCC comes along with AOR2 from visa office.
I got a request for PCC, but it came with a correspondence from Mississauga office. (As a Vietnamese, my VO is supposed to be in Singapore, isn't it?)

aor1 states that the application has been received -- sent from mississauga

aor2 will come from your VO stating that the application has been received there

as your parents or your friends who recognized your relationship make sure its notarized... how about insurnce?

For my application, I added my wife's name as a beneficiary to my bank account so I sent a copy of that. In addition I also sent a copy of a money transfer that I made to get and the last thing I sent was email exchanges between her and my parents. Do you think this would have been sufficient?

You can re-send the same application, but some people recommend re-printing and signing the forms with the current date. Was your application returned?

How would you resign the forms if the husband and wife are both in different countries? My application was returned as well but I ended up resending the same forms

This would be a reason that some people decide not to re-sign the forms. I think as long as your application comes back fairly quickly and you turn it around and put it back in the mail fairly quickly, there wouldn't be an issue. In my case, my application was returned on the old forms and I was forced to re-do everything with the new application packet : (
