Hello there! I sent my application on March 22nd. It was delivered on march 24th as per Canada post. I have not received AOR 1 yet. I am getting concerned. Is anyone else in the same boat? I am a sponsor. My husband is from India. I submitted the application to mississuaga office.

Try to call them and see if the call center agent can give you a file number. If you do, then your application is deemed complete and they will start to process it. One thing about calling them is it's hard to connect through.

We got a message in the cic account and an email telling us that we had the message inside of the account to go check. But she did say that it could take a few days!

Hi i just received an email from singapore VO.. ,and in the email it says this email confirms that your appliacation was received by CIC on feb 27th .. why singapore is confirming this date which we allready got AOR long time ago for feb 27th .but my file was transffered on april 7th ,. isn't it weired .. shouldn't they confirm the date when it was received by singapore which will be any date of april .. why they are confirming feb 27th ..? any advice please ??

For those who have rung immigration from outside of Canada, what number did you use? I just tried ringing +1 613 944 4000, but when I went through the menu options to speak to someone about visas, it suddenly became an automated message saying I couldn't "ring this tollfree number from my destination". I was on a cellphone, if that makes a difference. I don't actually have a landline to ring from

The number is correct. I use skype to call. You need to buy credit for your skype.

Hi, I'm a December 2016 applicant, Sponsor from Quebec (applied outland). You should get the request to apply for CSQ with your AOR1. You can get your documents ready before they send your the request and just mail them once you are asked...

no, i would give it some time.... if you dont hear anything by the end of next week i would call... make sure that you check ECAS because chances are itll say decision made there prior to you getting the email with SA

looking at the spreadsheet, there are still people who havent received the AOR yet. it takes between 15 and 30 days typically
