March 2017 applicants !!

Hi everyone
It's so worrisome that some of the applicants who have applied the same date as I did already received the passport request and mine background check not even started yet ! Why NDVO takes so much time to update?
Anybody else facing the same issues please share !!

The Applicants your talking about received their AOR2 in April e.g. Libu, from what I have gathered, NDVO is working on applicants who received their AOR2 from April 11 2017 onwards and also 2015 as well as 2016 Applicants so, relax and don't expect any movement until August, it hasn't even been 5 months for you, yes the process is faster but it still states 12 months,there's applicants waiting from 2015 and 2016.

Same here. march 17th applicant. in process at NDVO since may 10. recently received our GCMS notes and first officer notes (dated: June 20,2017) says eligibility passed (recommended passed), and sent to second officer for final review and decision.

That wasn't a sarcastic response and it wasn't an opinion to be kept to themselves...it was just advising that submitting March and not getting a passport request is completely normal and to be expected. The target is to process 80 percent of applications within 12 months. Some may be faster and some may be slower. I am also a March applicant and our file has been at the VO since May with no word or updates. Completely expected and everyone is going through similar things. If you aim for 12 months, you're being realistic, anything faster than that should be taken as amazing news. Try to not compare your application with others, as every app and officer is different and will be processed differently.

Hey! I know you got DM and PPR on July 31, 2017 but I was just wondering if you could share some info from your GCMS NOTES; like what was the Application Assignment Due Date and what was your paper file transfer history (location)!

application assignment due date was 2017/08/30 and NDVO (new delhi visa office)
