hi sis? i saw you timeline that you had ppr on oct5. i just want to ask if you dont mind how much exactly the payment to vfs? i'm a little bit confuse on the breakdown of the payment .the total should be 1493 pesos? including the courier fee if they will send back the passport? or your husband will go to vfs in person to pick it up?thank u

Hi sis,

My husband went to vfs in person to submit his passport because we feel it'll give us less to think about with the delivery and tracking of the package.

These are the fees he paid:
1) Secure transmission of passport 537php (required)
2) Sms notification 68php (optional)
=605pesos

If you can't pick-up, then you'll have to pay additional 285php for delivery.

They have a chat service on the vfs website sis. So it's best to confirm with them of the exact amount if you are mailing the passport. Note from the website:
"By mail: Bank Draft or Managers cheque in Philippine Peso in exact amount, acquired from any Philippines local banks and was made payable to "VFS Services Phils. Pvt. Inc."

If not, madali lang pag personal. Tumutulong naman mga guard sabe ng hubby ko.

I have a question with regards to background check

I got a email from the office in London back in August that they have received every thing and my application was going through back ground checks. This has been going on for more that a month now.
I will like to find out

- Is this is final step in the PR process
- If this is not the final stage what other stages are left
- Any one who has gone through this process how long more do I have to wait before I get a response.

hi sis!?you have to book the pdos once your husband gets his visa.

It is the step prior to requesting your passport. Once they are done with your background check they will send you and email regarding passport request and after a few days of a week they will send it back to you with your visa.

March 29th applicant!

It says they need more proof of our relationship, as I am 3 years older, and didn't send enough wedding photos to prove it's genuine. Let's say, I send them by tomorrow, any idea when I will hear next?

Do you really think is because of the 3 years of difference in age?
Sorry, I don't have idea how long will it take for they to respond, but I'm just shocked as my husband is 9 years older than me... I hope they don't ask for more stuff...
