My husband also called today and all this lady agent could say is there is no additional information she could give regarding our application apart from what we have received via email so far. Seriously???? It's over 60days. :'(

Me too. Mississauga has been so quiet with SAs lately. People from April are still getting AORs every week, so I don't know what's up. Hopefully, they'll send out a lot of ours in a big batch.

Thanks Decoy. This information is so helpful. They started processing the application on 4th April 2016. Only one line on the permanent resident side .....application received 10th March 2016. We send the medical results with the application but no update yet.

Mine says the same thing but when I called in to CIC she said they were sending the SA approval by mail and the app was sent to the visa office so you can't go by ECAS and if you have not heard anything then its likely that you got your SA and your app is en route to visa office where they will start working on it.


I read last night that there is a list of countries that have updated processing times. Unfortunately Dominican Rep. isn't on that list but the ones who are getting DMs already are.

yes. that is the landing document needed to land, so it will come back with the passport that has the visa stamped in it.

I received an email saying my COPR has been issued (im from a visa exempt country so haven't been asked to send off my passport).

Anyone know if that means its in the mail? Or will it be weeks/months yet?

Thanks for your reply.Yes my visa office is Delhi. I have received a letter from CIC for sponsor approval and asked to pay rprf. I paid rprf yesterday. But my status for sponsorship still shows in process. Can you please tell me what will happen next.

I'm at 44 days now and called in yesterday. They told us it's true, it should have been worked on but hasn't and now there is a note on my application to make it go through more rushed. You deserve at least that! I hope they'll speed up anyway

May I ask what's your VO and do you know when your status changed to DM? I believe that they have mailed it to you already judging off the correspondence they sent. You should have it soon! Is it standard to get an email regarding CoPR? I got DM but still no CoPR. Im getting nervous because I have a trip planned to visit my mom in the US in less than 2 weeks.
